At Saltouns we operate a homesearch service which is designed to ease the burden for you by providing you with the answers to some of the questions which arise. We will search for properties which match your criteria. We will visit these properties for you and provide you a written report on each one of them with advice on what you should expect to pay to achieve a successful purchase.

We facilitate the instruction of a survey. We will also advise what rental income you could expect, if the property is for investment purposes. In addition, we are aware that each person has their own extra requirements and we are happy to provide advice on schools, leisure facilities, local tradesmen and so forth to enable you to make a well informed choice about your new purchase.

The fee for our Executive Homesearch Service is £1,750.00 plus VAT and includes us looking at, and reporting on, up to 10 properties on your behalf.

Once we have found the right property for you we will then instruct a solicitor, after consultation with you, to submit an offer on your behalf and, if successful, they will then deal with the conveyancing in order to complete the transaction: please ask for a detailed estimate of the costs involved. We can also provide a Letting Service (including full Property Factoring) and recommended Independent Financial Advisors (further details of these services are available upon request).
